I'm just wondering what would be the best thing to use to create models in minecraft, in the final ToTW a different competition was announced to begin at some point and I made a sonic screwdriver a while ago (not for the dalek mod specifically). I want to get a head start on designing it in a minecraft 3d model format, although I have no prior experience.
Block Bench is simple to use and more useful features from what people have said, I use techne cus i hate myself... . Anyways, there's like tons of tutorials online if you don't know what you're doing.
most of its just moving pixels around to form a structure, so that kinda simple
good models take time, so keep that in mind, try not to rush any models and try to use the features of the program to its fullest
also, if you want to import it to minecraft and you're using blockbench, you need to convert it to a techne file and then to a mdl file(optional probably) and then put it in the models folder in the dalek mod folder in mods and then load it up
ight, hopefully i gave you some decent advice, if not i will feel somewhat sad
