[Dalek Mob Suggestion ] Mechanoid City, Fungoids, and Steven Taylor [Generated structure/Mobs/Companion]

Generated Structure 1: Mechanoid City

As Seen in: The Chase: The Planet of Decision

Based on: The Mechanoid City in Jungles of Mechanus

Generation Location: Jungle Biomes in Minecraft Xbox

Layout:

I will rewatch The Chase: The Planet of Decision and add a few more details here afterwards.

  • Prison Hold
  • Bridge
  • Elevator from ground Level

Mobs:

  • Mechanoid

Spawning: Inside Mechanoid Cities, and near elevators which lead up into these cities.

    Behavior:
The Mechanoids will be a bit Like the Defenders of the Conscience or the Spare Parts Cybermen I suggested some time ago in that they will be passive and in that they will not attack you as long as you do what they say
    • When in the city, they will tell you to follow them
      1. The Mechanoid will then follow a path to the nearest holding cell
      2. If the player stops, the Mechanoid will Tell the player to keep following.
        • If the player starts taking too long, the Mechanoid's weapon will slowly come out.
        • The player will then have time to recognize that this mob is serious and either obey or else
          • If the player does not comply, the Mechanoid will attack
      3. The Mechanoid will then direct the player to a cell
      4. A Mechanoid will guard this cell.
      5. If the player steps out of this cell, the Mechanoid will extend its weapon
      6. Any attempts by the player to take too many steps out of the cell will result in the guard firing at the player.
      7. If the player gets even further away, but does not kill the Guard, the guard will alert all Mechanoid in the area of the Jail Break
    • If the player ever decides to try to make a break for it, the Mechanoid will tell the player to halt.
    • Many of these actions affect a hidden value in the Mechanoid.
      • If the value hits a certain point, the mechanoid will become hostile
    • Hitting a Mechanoid will make it hostile.
    • Killing a Mechanoid will activate a City Wide distress signal, alerting all Mechanoids in the city that they have lost a fellow Mechanoid, and all will know who did it.

  • Attack type: Mid Ranged

    Attacks: Flamethrower

    Any other information:

Mechanoids never forgive, and they never forget. Anger them, and they will never forgive you unless you show up again ith a new face (regeneration)

  • Gubbage Cone AKA Fungoid

    Classification:
     Hostile Mob

    Attack Style:
    Melee/Grab

    As Seen In:
The Crystal Bucephalus gives a lot of interesting background info on thembut the main focus will be based on their appearance in The Chase

    Spawning:
    • Jungles with Mechanoid Cities in the X-box Dimension. Likely a few other places once I've done a bit more research on them.
    • They can spawn in Overworld (PC Minecraft) Rooftop forests, Mechanoid City or no Mechanoid City
    • Many times, they spawn in packs. They can spawn by themselves though.
  • Behavior:
    • Gubbage Cones can (just like in The Chase) be repelled with a light source if the player has one
    • They will usually attempt to sneak up on the player. They will try to get closer when the player is turned, and stop or go very slow while the player is turned away
    • Once in a certain range of the player, they will throw aside all thoughts of stealth aside and head straight for the player.
    • If the player sees a Gubbage Cone while it is moving, the Gubbage Cone will begin to head for the player, since stealth would be pretty much pointless

  • Attacks:
    • Melee Attack:
      • It doesn't really have an animation
      • It has a very close range (the player has to be pretty much right under the cone)
      • It can cause a few effects
        • Poison (for a very short while)
        • Slowness
      • The Attack itself isn't really that powerful, but the invincibility time between hits awfully short.
    • Grab
      • The Attack itself isn't really that powerful, but the invincibility time between hits awfully short.
      • The player will be held in place for a short moment, taking damage slowly while being held by the Gubbage Cone
      • Striking at the Gubbage Cone will make it release it's victim faster. Likewise, placing a torch, or allowing direct sunlight to touch it will likely cause the Gubbage Cone to back off a bit

  • Any other Information:
Perhaps there can also be a plant block that looks a lot like the Gubbage Cones (but really isn't) that can generate naturally.
    It could throw players off

  • Steven Taylor

    Classification: Companion

Doctor this Companion is usually Associated with:
    The First Doctor

    Taming:
The player must find Hi-Fi (Steven's Stuffed Panda Mascot) and return it to him in order to have him join the player.

Skins: Steven comes in a "Clean Shaven" variant and a "Bearded Variant." By default, he will spawn with the bearded skin. When the player brings Steven to the Tardis, Steven will change to the "Clean Shaven" skin.

Usefulness: At the moment, I'm still thinking of this. Despite Steven's personality and actions in the show, I'm not too sure he'd make that good of a Fighting companion when compared to the companions suggested in this link.

However, in The Daleks' Master Plan: Coronas of the Sun as well as in The Chase: The Planet of Decision or in The Time Meddler

(I forget which) Steven is shown to have some knowledge on Technology based on gravity force science, he's mentioned to be from the future of Earth (after the Dalek Invasion in fact), and it's also he's mentioned to have been a space pilot. I'm assuming there could be a way to make him a useful Utility companion, but I'm still working it out atm.)

    Quotes:
When Interacted with, he will usually say some things. In the prison, he will sometimes say the following in the Chat (Only players in a really close radius will hear him)
Some are from Planet of Decision, some I thought up

    •  These messages will show up during the first couple of game ticks around Steven
      • "Hello, I'm Steven."  (only displays once)
      • "Who won the wars?"  (only displays once)
      • "Are you real?" (He never repeats this message)
        • "No really, I'm not imagining you, right?" (he says this when interacted with right after the "Are you real?" message
      • "Well...this is great! I...I mean it’s ridiculous."
        • "I’m lost for words, I...I thought if ever I met anyone again, I wouldn’t stop talking for a week!"

    •  After the player has been around Steven for a few game ticks, these Messages will begin to come up
      • I wonder where HiFi is....
      • Have you seen a stuffed Panda lying about?
      • "Yes, exactly like a zoo. Only we’re the specimens that are on display."
      • "I crashed you see, out there in the jungle and wandered around for days trying to avoid those fungus things...of course then the Mechonoids captured me." (only displays once)
      • Mechanoids everywhere, no working ship, fungoids all below, and a huge distance to the Jungle Floor

    • Triggered when the player starts to walk out of the room
      • "Look, at the first sign of violence towards them, the Mechonoids destroy."
    • After the player has returned HiFi
      • "Hey, you found HiFi, Thank you so much" (pause for a bit) "Well, you seem pretty capable, I guess escape is worth a shot"
        • Steven will then follow the player after this message

Loot:

  • Mostly, this is wip.
  • This chest will contain some items of value.
  • Sometimes, the player can find HiFi (only if the structure has Steven in it)

Any other information:

  • The player cannot summon a Tardis in this structure (I'm considering a way to undo this, but at the moment, I'm unsure how it should be done

  • Despite the fact that the structure and way of finding Steven were inspired by Planet of Decision, the structure is not intended to be the same structure, nor are the Mechanoids intended to be the same Mechanoids that appeared in Planet of Decision
    • As for Steven... Well... I'll think of something. I'll listen to ideas if anyone has any on how to explain his presence and how he could have wound up here again with an apparent loss of memory of what happened to him last time

Anyway, If anyone has any ideas, feedback, Criticisms, or comments they'd like to leave, feel free to leave a reply

Lol, after watching that clip again....

It honestly had remembered that scene being a lot better when I was still on the First Doctor a year or 2 ago.

Looking back though, XD

Nonetheless, I'm still suggesting them anyway
