Preface:
It's been a while since I've last been active here, but I return for today with a new suggestion: the Cyber Piglin. I had the idea when watching the recent Cyber-Update video. Around the same time, the Nether update was in mind. Put two-and-two together, and you get the Cyber Piglin.
So, what's a Cyber Piglin? Think for a minute that the Cybermen have invaded the Nether and upgraded its most common resident - the Piglin. I imagine there can be three variants: An Incomplete Cyber-Piglin, a fully converted Cyber-Piglin, and a special variant for a Cyber-Piglin Brute.
The Incomplete Cyber Piglin
The Incomplete Cyber-Piglins use Crossbows and Steel Swords and have the same "rushed" appearance as the Lone Cyberman Ashad. Where there isn't armor, you can see the Piglin underneath. They share the behavior of Zombie Pigmen in that if one is attacked, all in an area become agitated.
The Fully-Converted Piglin
The fully-converted Piglin is fully armored and has both a melee attack as well as the ability to fire lasers. It is fully armored unlike its previous counterpart, and it retains its Piglin features in the shape of its helmet.
The Cyber-Brute/Cyber-Piglin Brute
The Cyber-Brute or Cyber-Piglin Brute has much greater health and strength than the other two variants. Its laser fire isn't much stronger than the fully-converted one, but its melee attack is significantly stronger.
Mutual Characteristics:
All three of the above mobs spawn exclusively in the Nether - mainly in the Nether Wastes or Nether Delta biomes - and drop steel and rotten flesh. The Brute and Fully Converted Piglins are hostile to the player, Zombie Piglins, and - when the DM reaches 1.16 - standard Piglins. As an interesting spin on 1.16's Piglins, the Incomplete Piglins can be neutral to the player unless the player is wearing gold, at which point they become hostile. Presumably, they're converted but still have their own will as it wasn't a full conversion. All these Piglins share the gold weakness of all Cybermen.
OTHER FEATURES
Gold-Tipped Arrows
Crafted by combining arrows with gold-nuggets. Perhaps multiple arrows can be put in a grid with one nugget. These arrows are especially effective against Cybermen. I'm thinking that when the Dalek Mod reaches version 1.16 of Minecraft, they could be added to the Bastion Remnant loot chest and Piglin Bartering tables.
Lore
This section is mainly for fun I guess. I imagine that in the past the Cybermen invaded the Nether and tried to convert its population. Due to the prominence of gold in the Nether, however, and the residents' love for gold, this attempt largely was unsuccessful, and they pulled out of the dimension. The partially and fully converted Piglins are what were left behind from the failed attempt at invasion.
Afterword:
This suggestion goes against the standard format for most of my suggestions, but I feel it wasn't really necessary for this to-the-point suggestion. I hope you all found it interesting, especially the devs whose opinion ultimately matters. If you have any feedback or ideas on things to add or change, just comment below.

This would be absolutely INCREDIBLE, but the mod is only just getting updated to 1.15 in the near future, so 1.16 and Piglins are a long way off. It may happen eventually, however judging by the sheer amount of work that has already gone into 1.15, it probably won't happen for ages. If it ever does though, I definitely think that this should be a thing :)

The first full release of the updated mod will be for 1.16, as stated by 1WTC in a recent livestream. It's not too different from 1.16 so they won't lose much progress, they're just waiting for Forge to come out of beta, and for 1.16 to be finished (as it's still getting snapshots).
Ah ok, does this mean we could expect 1.16 Dalek Mod during early 2021? I only thought it may be hard because I am aware of how hard the 1.12 to 1.15 was. Which livestream was this?
