When I try to join The DMU public server, it says "failed to verify username". Does anyone know why?

If you've recently changed your MC name you'll have to wait a little while before you can connect again. This is a Mojang issue rather than something we've done. Usually takes no longer than an hour

Are you trying to connect using a free / cracked account? Or is it a full genuine paid for account?

Hello

Try restarting your game and launcher, and relogging on the launcher.

On top of that, its a known error for people trying to use TLauncher, cracked launchers, etc.

DMU is not a cracked server, and will not allow anyone joining using a cracked/free account to connect.

I highly do not recommend this, but if you really dont want to pay, find dispenser websites, however they are most likely to be banned.

Edit : The "Disconnected" error is something i get sometimes, try constantly connecting, or the above, and it should fix.

Is that one of those launchers which lets you play the game for free?

If that's the case then unfortunately we do not support illegal copies of the game. If you want to play on DMU you will need a genuine paid account.

Tlauncher was free. I just cannot pay for a genuine minecraft account.

 I changed my name but its now took over 2 weeks and it hasn't let me in It said failed to verify username and its a genuine mojang account
