Hi im not particularly new to dalek mod however i have never played on servers and i was wondering how to get started on it. i load in and theres nothing just the hub, open land and a city

If you are first starting on DMU, I recommend doing /rtp so you can start in a random place. If you spawn in the ocean, do the command again. Repeat until you find a place you like. And also, welcome! 

Usally what I would do is mine iron/diamonds for full gear, then go to mob arena and grind till I can get enough money to buy a TARDIS or TARDIS materials of someone
