DMU Reset

I've been playing on DMU for a long, long time. I've traveled from one world border to another and back, Nearly all caves I see have already been explored and ransacked, There's Ghost Towns and old Nerd Poles littered all over the map...

Lets face the fact, the space between the populated towns and settlements is a mess.

Might I suggest a Reset on the Overworld? Just the chunks between the populated town will do. Name a date, let players gather, raid and pillage from the abandoned chunks and then pull the reset switch. If someone has a chunk they want to keep the way it is, they can let a staff member know the coordinates and those chunks will be saved.

Alternative, the world border could be expanded. Expanding the world border would work just as good because (at least, for me) there's not many new places to explore. rather than rediscovering the reset chunks, it would be pretty interesting to explore some never seen before areas.

those are just a couple suggestions. I know resetting several thousands chunks will be a big task, so I don't expect that to done with no second thoughts. Hence why I suggested expanding the world border. Much easier and less devastating.

We promise the players to never to a reset unless necessary.

However, expanding the world border sounds like a good option. I'll ask staff if we could do that, probably for next patch/update coming in a few days, where the skaro generation also changes slightly.

that's great, thanks.

I understand that completely resetting the DMU wouldn't be something you want to do. I thought, after posting this thread, that asking to reset the whole overworld was a big and slightly unrealistic request.

As I said, expanding the world border is just as good. I can't wait to discover more caves! (rather than rediscovering existing ones)

This would be good for me because, being a new Dalek Mod player, I have no way to survive on the DMU
