Description
Understandable, because the TARDIS is in another dimension, a loading screen is required to render it. like the nether, End, etc.
Here's my proposition, no loading screens... :)
Mods like Immersive Portals and Better Portals proves that this is possible. Although, Im sure it would be a very difficult and probably hella buggy feature for a while until you get the coding just right
Now, I do know that loading screen actually do have a purpose. To render the dimension to a point that is playable, which can take a while on older/ not £1000 gaming PCs. Hence why mods like Better portals are mods and not just part of the game. so, because of that, maybe this feature could be an option in the config.
Something like
"True BOTI"
when applied, the player can happily run between the two dimensions seamlessly.

How does it affect gameplay
It'll make entering and leaving the TARDIS unbelievably immersive. paired with the BOTI/ SOTI feature, you'll have achieved true Bigger On The Inside mechanics.
People will run straight into their TARDIS and take flight in seconds instead of having to wait for a loading screen!
i think this is something everyone wants, fingers crossed its even possible
better portals does it by constantly keeping the dimension loaded, which is why there is a lag spike when you create a portal as that is the actual loading screen, this could either mean its not possible as it would be too laggy when opening or closing the door, or alternatively it could also be done this way if the "loading screen" causes a little enough lag spike to be considered.
im hopeful, but not too hopeful.
