I love the TARDIS, mainly for its ability to be what ever the pilot wants it to be. My TARDIS follows a classic Doctor Who theme with hints of a modern TARDIS that just make the whole thing look custom and person. So, without further ado, here it is!
The Main Console room As you can see, I've used the Fault Locator walls to give the console room a very classic look, but the very memorable Toyota themed central console brings the room back to the modern ages with its clutter and messy appearance. Several pieces of furniture; a chair, hat stand, tables and a trophy, have been added over the millennia that I've spent piloting this ship. Just a few home comforts to liven the place up
The Corridor
The Corridor is a very simple design with the Hexagonal roundels as decoration. This is also where I display my much loved "Gallifrey Falls, No More" painting. The door ways are very simple iron door to make opening and closing as simple as possible. If I've got guests who I don't want in a certain room, I just Sonic the relevant doors to shut them.
The Smelter/ Armory room
This is where the majority of any veteran minecraft player will spend there time. After hours in caves, this is where all the ores go to be smelted and where I build most of my armor and tools.
The Atrium
By far, my most favorite room. This room is a simulation designed to make those long TARDIS flights seem more homely. The simulation consist of very life like animals, 100% edible crops a small water fall (yes, I copied the one from spawn, I liked it), and a small home to rest and recuperate after battling Daleks and Cybermen for the one millionth time this week The house includes a spacious living area, complete with a fire place, TV and comfy chairs. And a juke box for late night party's!
Upstairs is a very cosy bed and study area.
And in the cellar, a little enchanting and brewing station. For all the alchemy you could every need.
The Engine room
The engine room has been off limits for a little while now, the lift just does not want to work. Must get it fixed one day.
After making the rather sketchy climb down the lift shaft, a little corridor will take you directly to the engine
This ancient and quite dusty room once served as the primary console room. but after a rather excessive regeneration, it was damaged beyond repair, so I renovated it to fit the newly added fuel tank. The central column lines up perfectly with the main console, located directly above.
And that concludes our tour of my custom TARDIS. As you can imagine, there are many more rooms and corridors. This is a TARDIS after all, it is infinity bigger on the inside. Alas, what you see is all Im yet to discover.
I do hope you like it! please leave a review, critic and suggestion below!
(for those wondering, Im using Sphax PureBDcraft resource pack and Complimentary Shaders.)
(Also, this is my DMU TARDIS. So if you want to see it in person, just /msg me whenever Im online and Ill be happy to show you! My Minecraft Name: __Deku_)
Oh. My. God. Your TARDIS is beautiful! The overall classic style is gorgeous and works really well with shaders! The more modern elements match perfectly with the atmosphere! Even if the corridors have a really simple design as you said, the hexagonal roundels make them look unique. The other rooms like the armory room, the atrium, etc. are also great with the little details you put here and there, and the fuel engine room is amazing with the rotor and classic style that matches the console room!
Verdict: 10/10; One of the best classic style interior I've ever seen!
(Also, bonus point for your clever use of the white computery panes in the console room (I forgot their name, sorry).
