[suggestions] all areas of the DALEK mod

ok some people have asked about handles being added to the game well to put in a different way. how about instead

1.someone from the SWD records that part in doctor who where matt smith gets' his secret key and handles says engines activated record that audio quote from handle says

2.code it so that when holding the tardis key you press a random key e.g. " f " and the TARDIS materialises to your location whilst you materialise into the TARDIS

3.add in the quote from handles where he says "engines activated"

4.the audio stops you are now in the TARDIS

how would this look from different points of views:

when you are holding the key and press the required key for your point of view you will the TARDIS interior you were last in materialise around you you hear handles

when you are someone who is watching the person who is entering the TARDSIS you see the TARDIS exterior they were last in materialise around them thus you cant see them anymore but you do not hear handles in the background.

 for the 10th doctor's tardis I have noticed that it is never accurate but this is good enough.

you might have to add these roundel blocks into the game and then build this interior as accurate as you can you might not be able to get this exact model of roundel but at least try to get something like it.

you should implement the chatroom mod into the dalek mod and the way at which this would work is that when you right click the right tardis door it opens obviously but if you right click the left door the little phone box should open and by clicking on the phone it brings up a GUI that shows you everyone who is currently on the website, who is playing the mod in single player, who is playing on the private server and who is on the public server and so on and so forth and by clicking n their name you can send them a message of up to lets 200 characters and when you send it in the chat for that person it says "you have received a message from......" you then go into the chat and the word message is hyperlinked and sends you back into the GUI where you can see who's doing what and at the top of your screen it says inbox by clicking on it, it will show you your recent messages, from here you can send a message back or to someone different.

the tardis phone shouldn't be the only way to bring up this GUI, just find another way of finding it if you don't have a tardis

the 9th/10th coral TARDIS (but interior needs a lot of fixing and updating)

80s McGann TARDIS (I highly recommend the one by shane7646)

3.the food items(plus the ones I suggested called more foods and drinks part 1

4.vortex manipulator and sonic blaster needs a 3D model

5.mobs

weeping angels

silence

whisper men

weeping angels

zygons'

ice warriors

6.fix Bessie's sounds

7.some form of program installed into the mod that makes the games amount of FBS higher so the mod isn't as laggy

8.dalek ships spawn on Skaro .

 There's actually nothing different here really. It would be a pretty cool effect actually. Would you mind if I added or made a reference to this in the Handles thread? (credit will be given to you for the idea)

    • Also, if Battleben12's phone idea gets added (I really recommend checking it out) it could also be played in that way with a very low chance.

 

 

this post is just aimed towards the cyber men

topic - 1

1.normal cyber-man

.shoots laser blasts from gun located on the arm

.partly upgrades a villager (into a cyber villager. the cyber villager only wears a cyber man helmet, he also just does melee damage and can't upgrade other villagers)

2.classic cyber man

.only does melee damage

.quicker than other cyber men

. explode on death

3.tenth planet cyber man

.neutral mob (only attacks you if you attack them)

.does melee damage but has a higher strength value (there melee hits are stronger than any other melee attack in the game)

4. wooden cyber man

.shoot fire balls (like the ones fired by ghast) they cause an explosion of fire that does some physical damage but mainly it is just fire that carries on spreading

.when you are close to them they do melee damage which on every hit the mob is set on fire as well

5. cyber leader

.spawns other cyber men (random versions of them)

.fully upgrades villager (so they turn completely in to a cyber man)

.shoots lightning projectiles (to simulate the electric touch)

when you use the screw driver on them or the sonic shades they freeze for round about 5 seconds since they are technology and the screw driver can manipulate technology.

when killed there is a random chance they drop their head, when put into a crafting table surrounded by iron and in the centre top piece a redstone block it creates another cyber head but re-named handles.

cyber mat:

when mining any block there is a chance it will spawn an ender mat, this will do damage to you (melee) and when it spawns from the broken block it summons cyber men to your current location

cyber mats can also be obtained by:

crafted- 1 glowstone dust in the middle of the crafting table surrounded by steel and can be tamed with the right click of a sonic screw driver and when tamed it can

.down grade a cyber villager back into a normal villager

.will locate other players and mobs for you

.if you or your cyber mat is attacking you it will spawn two cyber men that will not harm either of you but just the attackers and they will then de-spawn afterwards

 

how else can they be obtained part 2:

spawn when cyber man is killed- chance is 1 in 3

spawn at night- chances of them spawning is 1 in 5

there should be a new planet (the one where the cyber men originally came from I don't know the name) at this planet it should be a rocky but very snowy planet and the weather evolves around two different types of weather 1.it is most of the time clear  2.it snows but much heavier than vanilla.      

on this planet only the classic and tenth planet cyber men should spawn here.

details of the planet:

.not really that dark

.caves (filled with zeiton - 7)

structures:

cyber men ships that spawn randomly and that they are made out of steel and iron mainly.

also when on the overworld there should be a small chance that a small escape pod like structure that comes down from the sky and in it are two spawners one for the classic cyber men and one for the tenth planet cyber men.

 

this post is just aimed at the planet trenzalore when it's finally re- added:

 

basic terrain of the planet:

.landscape

   .dark

   .rocky and steep hills

   .lava ponds

   .gravestones spawn around the terrain/area

   .trees without leaves so the planet has a sense of no life

.what should spawn

   .weeping angels, they move when you aren't looking at them and when they are close enough they do an insane amount of damage (melee)

   .wooden cyber men, these shoot fire and instead of saying delete they say incinerate

   .the rusty old stone Daleks and the original Daleks, they have deep metallic sounds and shoot normal blast

   .the silence, are very quick and fire lightning down from the sky

   .whispermen, do what ever damage they did in the show

key locations:

   .it is not rocky here

   .not as dark

   .snow is here

   .only place on trenzalore where the weather changes (snowing)

day light cycle:

   .always dark

   .every 7 minutes or so it is day but only last 30 seconds or so

updates for the moon after watching the dev video:

 

what's good:

.kept the basic structure of how the moon is formulated

.has a nice look to it (this point is in my opinion)

.updated from how it is now

 

what needs improving:

.don't make it as dark

 

what I think should be added/changed:

.there is a lightside and a darkside to the moon from the lightside you can see earth and from the darkside you can just about see mars

.there should be a new mob called the alien villager and they spawn on the moon and they are neutral.

.another vehicle should be added called the moon buggy and it should have full control when riding around the moon however Bessie doesn't have any downforce/traction that gives it's balance on the moon meaning it will just drive uncontrollably.
