The Adventures of NinoTheChicken!

Chapter 1:

I remember the day when it all started. I was making my chicken-plane to travel across the earth and I was very happy. I had almost finished it, but my friend Johnny the Goat called me for dinner. He cooked potatoes and a very good salad; but while we were eating, we heard a boom of thunder. But there wasn’t a storm? We went out and saw a big tower near our house, swaying side to side. I was about to cry when I saw that the tower fell on my Chicken-Plane. Ten months of work, and it was all for nothing - but then it started to rain.

A strange creature came out from the tower. It was a hawk. I could see instantly that he wasn’t friendly, as he pointed at us with strange white rod in which threw a kind of bolt. That bolt destroyed the door of my house.

Johnny and I started to run to the village near the countryside where we lived, the village of Polish.

When we arrived to the village we took refuge in the little house of the human Arthur, and then I started to make a plan.

“Nino, what are we going to do now?” Johnny asked to me.

“I don’t really know... we need a plan. Who was that hawk?! And I'm still angry about my Chicken-plane, my door ... that bolt burned a piece of my tie.”

That night, while Johnny and Arthur were sleeping I heard some steps from the alleyway. I looked out of the window and saw him. I was about to act when Arthur took my hand and with a serious look he motioned to not do anything. I listened to him and decided to put a chair on the door and go to sleep.
