Hello all! I'm finally back!
To honour the development of the new mod “Zelda Infinity” I will talk about “The Legend Of Zelda”.
How was it created?
Shigeru Miyamoto, when he was young, liked to explore the forest behind his house a lot, but one day he found a cave in it! So he took an oil lamp and went in; thanks to this event he started to develop his new video game “The Legend Of Zelda” ( ?????? Zeruda no densetsu).
The Legend Of Zelda (NES) 1986 Plot:
One Day in the amazing Mushroom Kingdom came the evil King Koopa and invaded it with his koopa troop.. Oh no no no, that’s Super Mario...
Well, let’s start again:
One Day the amazing Kingdom of Hyrule was invaded by the swine...(?) Ganon and his minions, the princess Zelda was kidnapped, but she was smart (unlike Peach) and divided the Triforce in 8 pieces placing them in various dungeons, with various monsters as guards, now it’s up to Link to recompose the Triforce and kill Ganon!
Ps: In the timeline this is one of the last chapters... but we will talka bout it in one of the next articles.
Gameplay:
I’m pretty sure that all of you were waiting for this!
The Legend Of Zelda is an open-world game where you can literally explore the map without following the plot... well, you have to follow the story but you can do a lot of other things, like... buy stuff.
Hyrule has 8+1 dungeons (+1 is the Ganon’s dungeon, and no, isn’t a castle like in the new games, just a cave...with the map look like an head)
YOU are Link the superhero on duty (without the “super” because that’s still Mario). This young guy with green clothes and ears that appears to have an ear infection has to save the smart princess called Zelda (Zelda is not the hero but is the PRINCESS).
Link in the entire game can wear 3 different’s tunics:
• The Basic one (Green)
• The High-Defense one (Blue/light Blue)
• The High-Attack and Defense one (Red)
The blue tunic can be found in one of the dungeons (I don’t remember which, but this is not a guide so don’t complain please).
The Red tunic, conversely can be bought for 30 rupies (not much, but for who played The Legend of Zelda should know that get rupies is much hard).
Obviously it’s not an easy game, I think it’s harder than Breath of The Wild to be honest (i played both and i only finished BoTW, i spent on it like 3 month, but i still have to finish the classic one).
There are also so many usefull items to get:
When finished you have to remember that there’s always something else to get, so... I don’t think it’s possible do it 100%.
I hope you enjoyed this article how I enjoyed to write it (a lot)!
See you Next Sunday! With Zelda II The Adventures of Link.
