DM Bugle: The Origins of Zelda III

Hey everyone and welcome back to my article on The Legend of Zelda!

This time I will talk about the greatest chapter:

The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time

Here is the plot:

The most odious fairy brought our favourite hero with an ear infection to the Great Deku Tree,

who explained to Link that an evil man from the desert is planning to conquest Hyrule (guess who it is).  Then the Deku tree gave Link the Spiritual Stone (the green one) and sent him to talk to the smart princess Zelda!

GamePlay:

You are Link in the first real 3D game of Zelda.

The game has 2 parts:

•The young Link part:

You are Young Link and you have to go get the 3 stones:

–Green

–Blue

–Red

After that you have to go to the temple of time and use the ocarina of time to open the time doors and wait seven years inside it to get the time swor- no, joke, the master sword.

•The adult Link part:

After 7 years you wake up as the adult Link, you have to travel through a post-apocalypse world to find some others temple (don’t ask me how many, because I don’t remember and this still isn’t a tutorial).

In these temples, you have to kill the guardians and save some spirits who will give you the power to beat Ganond- nah, joke, they will make a rainbow-y bridge to get in the castle. Then you can beat Ganondorf with just a bottle... in the first part of the battle... the last one is more epic.

When you finished the adventure you can start the Master quest where you are in a spectacular world with different dungeons and less health.

I hope you enjoyed this article! See you next time!

Ocarina is a very good game. A bit overrated, but very good still and set the precedent for a lot of future entries.

Also it was 7 years, not 10.
