more mobs/upgrades to mobs [suggestion]

this is not completed yet, if you have any suggestions on mobs or upgrades to how they respond to players and mobs please post them here. you can use mobs that are already been added or confirmed, please use the same format as me when suggesting so the entire forum post is neat and easy to read.

 

1. zygon (not as derp as the one from 1.7.10) - hostile

   .maximum health = 30 hit points

   .speed = same speed as villager

   .attacks = melee

   .attack strength = 2 hearts of damage per hit

   .special abilities = shape shift into villager

   .weaknesses = none - use normal combat to kill

 

2. weeping angels (not as buggy as 1.7.10) - hostile

   .maximum health = 15 hit points

   .speed = doesn't move

   .attacks = melee

   .attack strength = 4 1/2 hearts of damage per hit

   .special abilities = - when not observed it moves (this shouldn't be buggy like 1.7.10)

                                         - changes villagers into angels

   .weaknesses = only be killed with pickaxe

 

3.silence - neutral - use the model from 1.7.10 as a foundation for a new model

   .maximum health = 50 hit points

   .speed = 20% faster than the villagers

   .attacks = throws you in the air

   .attack strength = 4 hearts per hit plus an extra heart from fall damage

   .special abilities = they spawn lightning down from the sky (3 and a 1/2 hearts of damage, plus extra 2 from being on fire from the lightning)

weaknesses = none - use normal combat to kill

 

4.movie dalek from cushing's movies (improved version) - hostile - current model is okay

   .maximum health = whatever the health is for daleks currently

   .speed = little bit quicker than the current daleks

   .attacks = long ranged, fire-arm (guns) - use the same laser blasts as the current daleks

   .attack strength = same as daleks do to players and mobs now

   .special abilities = can also spray/release gas from their guns

   affects of the gas are as follows:

   1 - poisons you

   2 - gives you slowness and weakness

   3 - gives you hunger

   4 - nausea and blindness

   5 - wither affect but very weak

when you are sprayed with the gas all these affects will be put on to you and the affects will start out very weak but the longer you stay in the gas the stronger the affects become and they also last longer, the gas ability should only be available to the cushing movie daleks as it was seen used by the daleks in the cushing movies, we should then be able to craft a smoke grenade which when thrown and is activated it releases a cloud of gas that has the same affect which has the same affects the only way to cure yourself is there is an antidote for you to use, milk doesn't cure you but it can be used to weaken the affects, making the affects be one less tear stronger (when I say tear I mean how potion affects are measured)

This post is just how specific mobs travel around. This post will contain mobs that are not in the mod yet.

.Daleks - travel in groups of round about fives

.Cybermen - single ones scour the area but then these will send reinforcements if necessary.

.empty child - travels alone near villages and recruits New mobs (gas mask zombies on the way)

.clockwork droid - travel like the cyber men 

.autons - travels in threes 

 

this post is for a mob that is not currently in the mod but will hopefully be re-added soon and if so this post should be looked at for detail on this mob.

5.K- 9 (we should get ALL the different versions of K-9 as seen as in the different eras of Doctor who)

   .maximum health = 20 hit points (but he has a regeneration system so that when he is about to die he will be given 50% of health back (10 out of the 20 hit points)

   .speed = little bit slower than a villager

   .attacks = laser blast (med to long range)

   .attack strength = whatever the damage of a cyber man's laser blast are.

   .special abilities = 1) the 50% life re-gain regen

                                         2) can scan for pulses, so can identify any other mobs in a near by vicinity

                                         3) can fly to a maximum height of 7 blocks high, and when in flight he moves 35% faster

                                         4) can be sent on jobs (e.g. can be sent to do mining, farming or even set out to terraform the surrounding vicinity

K-9: when you shift right click on K-9, it should bring up a GUI that gives you options that tell K-9 what to do, examples of these are.

.an option to terraform the landscape

.he has a inventory that you can store items in, his storage capacity is the same amount as a double chest

.you can send him out to mine, the materials he mines will automatically be smelted as he breaks them and will be stored in the inventory for you to collect

.set him to kill a specific animal or mob and any collectibles will then be stored as well in the inventory

.he has an option that brings up a potion GUI so you can brew potions through K-9

.there is a option that brings up a crafting table GUI so you can craft things through him

.you can tell him to set up specific farms (e.g. carrot, potato or even mob farm, all these farms start out small (4x4) and if you pay him zeiton - 7 he will build a bigger farm like (10x10))

.there is an option in his GUI that allows you to see every crafting recipe in the game and the mod, kinda like too many items, from here it is like a guide so you can see what you need to do to obtain a specific required item.

6.the flood

   .maximum health = 10 hit points - hostile - goes after villagers - spawn on mars, like in the show

   .speed = same speed when a player is running as fast as possible without any buffs like swiftness

   .attacks = long ranged, spray rapid flow of water from hand

   .attack strength = idk yet!

   .special abilities = the water is contaminated, if it hits a normal vanilla mob like a skeleton or pig it kills it instantly other wise it harms hostile mobs very badly, and finally as soon as it hits a villager, the villager becomes one of them.

   .weaknesses = ice warriors are immune to the effects and kill them the quickest, by melee strategy.

really liking this suggestion

although k-9 is looking a little bit too OP. i dont think he should be able to do so much i mean, mining, farms?? not so sure.

an improvement for the silence is that they cant spawn lightning in water

 Love the idea! But, how will you fight them? Long ranged or is it possible to fight them with melee? The Flood are one of my favorite monsters from the show. I would love to see this implemented into the mod.

ok so I have had TheDerpyN ask me how would you fight the flood, well I would say that you would do long ranged damage like a bow or if you've got something from another mod, this is so you as far away as possible to getting harmed by the water they spray. I was also thinking that..... drumroll...... that there is a potion called the antidote that when thrown onto the flood it turns the effected mob into a normal villager or other type of mob again and then what's left is just this living water that then you use lava to burn out.

7.slytheen - comes in red and green (I know they are practically different species) - green ones are hostile - red ones are neutral (only attack if you attack them)

   .maximum health = 30 hit points

   .speed = little bit quicker than villagers when not being bothered but when you start attacking them they will be much faster.

   .attacks = . melee

                        . some fire a poisonous dart that gives you

                          poison, nausea, blindness, weakness and slowness (all these effects are not all in one)

                        . there is a 1 in 7 chance that they will bite you and if so you have a 5 minute countdown before you get really bad wither thus killing you within seconds.

   .attack strength = melee attacks do 2-3 1/2 hearts on impact

   .special abilities = can be villagers but the sonic shades can help you identify them and when you start attacking them they will peel off their skin and leave a 2D in print of it in the ground and the monster underneath is revealed

   .where do they spawn = there should be a new planet called Raxacoricofallapatorius where it is one side red and one side is green, the green side is where you find green slytheen and the red side which has red slytheen.

   .other info = red and green slytheen fight each other.

                             the red ones can teleport when really low on health

                             they both have different audios, the red ones will say old 19th century English sayings in a posh voice. the green ones just make scary alien sounds that are above all else really annoying.

8.sontaran(the newer version) - hostile - travel/spawns on their own (doesn't have company)

   .maximum health = 30 hit points

   .speed = same speed as players at top speed, without buffs like swiftness

   .attacks = med-long ranged shot/fire arm - laser beam shots

                        melee when in close proximity

   .attack strength = melee = 3 hearts per hit

                                         gun = 4 1/2 per hit by the laser shot

   .special abilities = .when they see players and are starting to get beaten up they will call for reinforcements

                                         . can go invisible to hide - use sonic shades to identify them

                                         . can scan pulses, this makes them good at hunting you down

                      . random chance that a circular ship flies down from the atmosphere and then they exit from there ship to start scouting for players.

 To me.. This looks just a slight bit cluttered. And it takes a bit longer to find the individual headings

It's really just my opinion, but may I suggest something a bit like this?

 

 


 

Sontaran (Sontaram Stratagem look (?))

Stats:

  • Health (Max)- 30 hit points (15 hearts)
  • Speed
    • Walking- Base Player speed
    • Running-Base Player speed
  • Attack strength
    • 6 hit points (3 hearts)

Spawning:

  • The Moon
  • Overworld
    • 20% chance of spawning at night
      • Random?
  • Can spawn from ships

Behavior:

  • When taking damage they call for reinforcements

Attacks:

  • Melee- 6 hit points (3 hearts) of damage
  • Gun
    • 9 hit points (4.5 hearts) of damage

Special Abilities:

  • They have the  ability to become invisible
    • The player can see invisible Sontarans with Sonic Shades
    • Can scan pulses (?) to track players

 

 

 This is really just my opinion though

9. Vashta Nerada - very hostile and will always attempt to kill you

if you don't know what they look like go onto your browser and search Vashta Nerada, be careful with spelling because sometime I write it Nashta Verada.

 

. maximum health = 30 hit points

. speed = little bit slower than villagers (because this creature was very slow from the show)

. attacks = melee

. attack strength = 4 hearts per hit

. special abilities = on the ground of the Vashta Nerada, there should be multiple shadows shaped like this creature that when a villager walks into it they become one of them, when mobs walk into the shadow they soon die and when players walk into it we take damage and if it kill us where we died should be another Vashta Nerada.

. spawn = random spawn at night, can spawn in caves, on the moon, or in villagers

. quotes/audio

1) HEY! , WHO TURNED OFF THE LIGHTS, HEY! WHO TURNED OFF THE LIGHTS!!!

 

 

10. hand bots - neutral (only attack if you harm them) - spawn during the day and at night

. maximum health = 15 hit points to kill the entity

. speed = little bit slower than villagers

. attacks = melee and poisonous dart, there is an animation where their head opens up and they fire the dart from their head.

. attack strength = melee - 2 and 1/2 hearts worth of damage

                                      poisonous dart - on impact it does the same 2 and 1/2 hearts of damage

. poisonous dart

effect 1: poison (hence the name poisonous dart)

effect 2: slowness

effect 3: wither

. special abilities = when they are being attacked there is a chance that they will teleport, they can also teleport back up in some times if they need assistance. when  they melee you they give you blindness this simulates the fact that in the show the hand bots when they touch you, you are given an anaesthetic, the blindness effect simulates this effect.

audio/quotes = do not be alarmed, this is a kindness. (this should be said in the voice used in the show) 

how do we implement the audio?:

well record one of the scenes where the quote is said, edit it so that it doesn't sound off, then simply add this to the mob, right some code that tells the mob to play the sound at specific times depending on the situation at hand.

other info: when they are walking around they should raise both hands not like they're a zombie but as it is in the show.

 Hi there, these suggestions sound pretty good, but most of these are already being added into the mod and are confirmed.

 

I also recommend using the "Edit" button when posting future suggestions, so your ideas are all in one comment and not it multiple ones. Some users can take this as spam, which isn't a good thing here.

 

Do you think you can use some basic punctuation? E.g. Capital letters and full stops. It really helps others understand your suggestions and give feedback. This is such as case as it look a while for me to figure out what you were saying.

 

 

In the future I suggest looking back at feedback that others have posted, such as my feedback on your other threads, and Arcphoenix's ones as well.
