I just started to get back into Minecraft and by extension "The Dalek Mod", after hearing the unfortunate news of the server fire despite the fact that I'm a week late but I have had a suggestion for a Survival Update in my mind for quite a while now and I thought since I have the time I might as well write it out. There is, however, another section on this thread about a Server Update which is just about some suggestions for the new Server but you'll have to read through that to hear more.
Survival Update
The Hand of Omega is a fictional "stellar manipulator" used to send stars into a Supernova explosion, however, for the purpose of Minecraft, the Hand of Omega can also be used to enchant numerous items with the "Omega Infused" enchantment. The Hand of Omega is a 2x1 decorative block that can be used to open up its enchanting UI comprised of one single item slot, when an item is placed into Hand of Omega, the block will begin to emit mild smoke particles to show its current usage. An item can be left in the slot without being ejected when the UI is closed and when the proper time is elapsed the item will have a distinct shimmer, similar to an enchantment effect but with be a much more vibrant turquoise or cyan color and will be labeled as having "Omega Infused" enchantment followed with a roman numerical to indicate the level of enchantment. In order to gain "Omega Infused I" the item must be placed in the slot for a real-time hour or 6 in-game days, for just the bare minimum enchantment, whilst the higher the enchantment an extra hour is added. The enchantment will be temporary and will last for only a given amount of time or a given amount of usage. If a tool is being used with the enchantment a yellow spark effect will be emitted when a block or enemy is hit or for transportation the entire minecart will be given a "shimmer" effect and when in motion will have a trail of sparks emitting behind it. When the enchantment is finished the item or object will immediately break with its durability being destroyed and no item being able to be retrieved. In order to craft the Hand of Omega, you will need to craft a Stellar Manipulator (White Point Star, 3x Obsidian, Nether star, and 4x stasis cubes) which resembles a black box, in order to craft the Hand of Omega you will then need to surround the Stellar Manipulator with 8x Bronze blocks. When right-clicked with no item selected the Hand of Omega will deposit a "Bucket of Artron Energy" into the selected item slot and could be used to fuel a TARDIS by 100% however it takes an entire real-life hour for this to happen again.
Certain items can be enchanted with the "Omega Infused" enchantment including Transportation, Tools, Weapons, Armour, and crafting blocks. To start off with tools, if a full-durability wooden pickaxe was enchanted with a level one "Omega Infused" enchantment, the pickaxe would gain 118 durabilities and will take 0.5 seconds to break a stone block. While this may seem inconsequential, you must remember that with a Diamond Pickaxe with an "Omega Infused" level 10 enchantment, the pickaxe would gain 17,171 durabilities and would take 0.02 seconds to break a stone block. If enchanted with other enchantments this could become an extremely overpowerful tool but would need the game to be running for 10 hours or half a day. Next up is Weapons that are enchanted with "Omega Infused" enchantment, for example, a Wooden Sword with the "Omega Infused" Level One enchantment would have attack damage of eight (for reference a Netherite Sword has that capabilities) and would gain durability 118 durabilities whereas a Diamond Pickaxe with "Omega Infused" Level Eleven enchantment would have 77 attack damage (4 hits and the Wither would die) and would gain 17,182 durabilities. Armour is indifferent to the whole aspect of being upgraded in durability so let's move onto Transportation. Transportation would allow for regular minecarts to be enchanted with "Omega Infused" Level One enchantment all the way to Level Ten enchantments. When enchanted with any variation, the Minecart has a "shimmer" effect and when moving has a trail of yellow sparks emitted behind it. A normal furnace minecart, for example, has a constant speed of 240m per minute, a normal minecart with a Level One "Omega Infused" enchantment has a constant speed of 480m per minute until at 480m the Minecart will break leaving behind no item to pick-up. So a minecart could go 420 blocks in a minute. A normal Minecart with a Level Ten "Omega Infused" enchantment could go at 2,640m per minute. Honestly, this is a tiny amount considering a Minecraft map is around 30 million blocks wide. What does make this an overpowered enchantment is the capabilities of the Minecart? No matter what the variation of enchantment the Minecart is not required to have rails for it to move on, instead, it performs just as well without them as if it was already on them. Another interesting property is that the Minecart will jump up a one-block height, will move on top of water and lava, and will finally break a 1x2 hole if it reaches an obstacle bigger than one block, burrowing into entire mountains and buildings no matter their composition and thickness until it reaches a surface. If any mob gets in its way they will suffer fatal damage, even if it's a simple Skeleton or a full-health Wither.
In conclusion, this object might be seen as overpowered along with regular Minecraft enchantments but the wait time for an enchantment to occur and the crafting resources make up for this. If it's allowed on the Public Server, I'd recommend limiting it to one per person otherwise overpowered players might show up.
