for metalert blocks maybe there could be a feature like copper blocks change colour over time but with the metalert blocks they can become more rusted and brittle overtime when placed on cold blocks such as snow/ice blocks, because metalert cant stand sub temperatures.and for metalert items could loose more durablity when breaking ice/snow blocks or break completely.
