TARDIS Interior Suggestion Thread (Official)

What do you mean by 'format'? Also, does anyone think that my idea makes sense?

 100%, that sounds cool!

This is a cool idea.

Post: below( I have a suggestion)!

Hello! This is the Official Tardis Interior Suggestion thread for the upcoming updates!

This is being produced by myself (MilkPls) and Ford (Ford_Pines), who has a model thread up under 'creations' in case you want to preview some of the things coming with these interiors!

Want to suggest an interior or room? Post it here! This can be non-canon but please do keep this reasonable. We may be taking suggestions but your MLP Doctor Who fan series is sadly out of the question.

Now, below this is what is made/planned. So please don't point out the obvious.
If you are looking for exterior suggestions that thread is this way

 WHAT WE'VE MADE

All Doctor-Used interiors (Hartnell-Toyota, Hell Bent, variants such as the Paradox machine, etc)

Most canon Doctor-Used rooms (Library, Observatory, etc)

Master's Interior

The Rani's Interior

The Lego Dimensions Toyota

And so forth.

 WHAT WE MAY MAKE

The Shalka Interior

The Junk Tardis (Don't ask how that'll work, ha)

Professor Chronotis' Tardis

Toyota Interior variations (though these may not be directly accessible in the mod)

WHAT WE WON'T MAKE / WHAT'S OUT OF THE QUESTION

Fan-made interiors from fan films

Unprofessional work

Google Images interiors

That one steampunk Tardis with the roundels you saw on Google images that one time, you know the one.

Your custom interior you drew on graph paper with crayons.

With that being said, don't be afraid to suggest something as long as you honestly think that I and Ford would be okay with making it, we're open to ideas but again, don't suggest something if you know it'll be denied. Refer to the above for an idea of what is and isn't acceptable.

FORMAT

Effective on the 2nd of September, 2016 at 9:45 PM (EST) all Tardis Interior suggestions must follow the listed format. This will help prevent the discussion being clogged up and (hopefully) preventing posts from being unneccesarily large. Format is below:

 Suggestion: JDJG Tardis

Why I am suggesting this: Because I spent a long time on it.

Why I want this in the mod: Beuase player's can play in a style of mine and be able to feel like they are home.

What sets this apart from the rest: This a custom built tardis ready to help me feel home with the dalek mod.

Why should we make this: (made my own one).

 My own thread:

P.S. if it's too small I could make it bigger. it's on the creative server. This is something I custom made.

Custom exterior(minecraft edition):

Just to let you know, we're don't really add custom tardis for no reason, and no offence, your tardis isn't the greatest

I was practicing with world edit

and had an idea.....How to stop Bridging.

Show content

Simple. Encase all Tardis models in bedrock.

I did the 2014 Legacy as an example/template, it was the most difficult to do, all the others will be easy to encase.

this simple fix will also limit customization to a standard footprint.

All are welcome to inspect the 2k14ab...(2014 anti-bridging)  at its current location on the creative server

I thought it should be mentioned before  U47 is up and running

Simple. Encase all Tardis models in bedrock.

while it might be good for protection,  in the event someone wants to build a bigger interior or add more rooms or corridors, this would be a BIG hindrance

make an interior for the 80's one its been in the mod forever but nothing has been done to it

What about encasing them at the 96 x 96 block generation limit?

As I said (This simple fix will also limit customization to a standard footprint.)

U47 will be in 1.12 with new recipes for tardis building, some requiring Basic tardis models as a component.

My thought is that some of the advanced tardis models should be left as they are ( the dirt lot)  but encasing the basic/standard models might encourage some to upgrade to a bigger better model, including a "customizing friendly"  model ie: the dirt lot.

My other thought comes to late. The coding is probably done.

I would have liked the first tardis recipe to have been the Dirt lot model, with the Hartnel console as the Identifier componant in the recipe, then the duel paths for the rest of the tardis recipes as Weirdo has laid out in another thread.

Oh well, it's to late for that thought, and it might be to complicated of a recipe for the first tardis ?

Hey! I thought I'd just suggest a few ideas that I would love to see.

I'd like to see a Matt Smith Version of the Toyota Tardis (Series 7), and an updated version of Peter Capaldi's tardis, with the books on the stairs etc. Would It be possible to update Capaldi's Tardis to look a bit darker (Lighting-wise), like it does in his Regeneration scene? That would be awesome to see.

Thanks!

Heyo this thread is pretty dead but since I'm the one handling interior stuff I oughta pop in.

I'm currently in the middle of redoing literally every canon interior for the mod (And making new ones where applicable), the Toyota is gonna have a 7b variant after this redo and the new textures and models give it the proper atmosphere, here's a preview photo showing what I mean.

So I've been thinking about this for a long while, and I've finally decided to suggest it as a feature in the mod. Ever since the clockwork console was added into the game, I have been brainstorming ideas of what a Tardis with that console would look like. I have build an Interior in a single player world that is what I have decided the Tardis would look like.

Why I am suggesting this: Because the clockwork console has been a stand alone model in the game since 1.8 and it has never got the full potential of what it could bring to the mod.

Why I want this in the mod: Because the clockwork Tardis is a great concept that I have been pondering over for a while and I believe it would be well received by fans of the mod.

What sets this apart from the rest: Because there is no such clockwork related Tardis in the mod so far, apart from possibly the steampunk wardrobe which could potentially be the exterior.

Why should we make this: Because it would be a nice new Tardis interior that is relatively easy to customise and also very survival friendly.

Here are some pictures of the concept I build in survival. Please note that I was not able to use the clockwork console itself because the flight controls cannot be placed on it so I built a replica out of other blocks.

Crafting Recipes:

Chameleon Circuit:

The Tardis Itself:

List of blocks used:

1x1 Tardis interior door

Dalek Mod Tardis Floor Mesh

Super dark grey clockwork block

Dash red clockwork block

Standard clockwork block

Coral roof divider stairs

Old coral roundel

Grey roundel

Coral stone slab

Coral Monitor

Backright Coral Panel

Toyota crank panel

Tardis flight panel

Light coral panel

Toyota helm

Copper switch panel

Copper handbrake

Toyota rotor (Orange)

Coral wall

Cobblestone wall

Prismarine

Copper corridor (Open)

Copper corridor

Copper corridor junction

Sign

Transparent block light

Coral stone stairs

Coral Chair

Chalk board

Floor Grate

I really hope you consider this as a feature to add to the mod, and if you do then I'd be happy to help build the actual thing if you'd have me.

 Suggestion: Overwatch TARDIS

Why I am suggesting this: Because Overwatch is cool and Ford is level 101 or something

Why I want this in the mod: Because it would be a worthy custom TARDIS

What sets this apart from the rest: It's a cool game that deserves to be reworked into a comsolemroom

Why should we make this: Ford is addicted to the game

 Just no. Please no.

I believe this is considered necroposting due to the age of the thread. Please avoid posting on old threads in the future.
