[Dalek Mod Addon Suggestion (WIP)] K9 Addon Features [Mobs, Blocks, Items, Structures]

So recently, I've been watching K9. It's a spinoff of the Main Doctor Who series and is centred on titular character, K9. I was thinking, perhaps there could be an addon for the Dalek mod which brings in a few things from K9. I decided to take some of the things I could see working in game and put them in a suggestion format.

 Vehicle 1- Mariah

Vehicle: Mariah

Owner: Darius Pike

Obtaining: For now, just Creative mode or the Gryffen Manor

Implementation: A reskinned Bessie

Mob 1- Orthrus

Mob: Orthrus

Owner: Inspector Drake

As Seen in: Jaws of Orthrus

Analysis: Orthrus is similar to K9 in many ways. Unlike the latter; however, Orthrus is one very bad dog. Created to ruin K9's reputation, Orthrus will attack players on sight. Compared to K9; however, Orthrus cannot match up in strength or defense.

Behavior Type: Hostile

Spawning:

  • Spawns Rarely in the Overworld

Mobility:

  • Flight

Attacks:

  • Laser Beam

Drops:

  • Orthrus Parts

Mob 2- Non-Corporeal

Mob: Non-Corporeal

As Seen in: The Fall of the House of Gryffen

In the Show: Proffessor Gryffen thought he finally had his family back when these entities appeared in his house during a particularly severe thunderstorm. They were not his family, however, and tried to put Starkey, Darius, and Jorjie into the STM so they could have a physical form. Meta-wise, the prof should really think that blackness around the eyes annd pale skin are a red flag

Behavior Type: Hostile

Spawning:

  • They Spawn in the Overworld during thunderstorms. I'm thinking perhaps only in torch lit areas, but I might change this.
  • They will despawn after a thunderstorm ends

Attacks:

  • Supernatural Pulse
    • A non-corporeal raises his or her hand and fires a green ball at a player to deal damage

Special Abilities:

  • Teleportation
  • Unnatural Existence
    • Trying to detect these foes with anything other than the eyes or ears just won't work.

Variants: Girl, Boy, and Woman forms (based on the Non-Corporeals from The Fall of the House of Gryffen)

Mob 3- Jixen Warrior

Mob: Jixen Warrior (No, it is not a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle)

Spawning: Overworld

Behavior Type: Hostile

Attack Style: Melee

Special Abilities:

  • Jixen Mucus.
    • When sprayed on a foe, he or she will be tracked down until the end of a Jixen's lifetime, which is 800 years.
    • In the mod, if a player is sprayed with Jixen Mucus, the player will be chased by all Jixen, no matter how far underground or how many blocks high, the Jixen will follow the player until death unless he or she makes a special potion.
    • The Jixen can perhaps (and I'm not sure whether this is canon to K9 or not)  prioritize by how much Mucus is on a person, and if in a desperate situation, there will be some kind of weapon with which you can drench a foe in Jixen mucus and run, leaving your foe to be destroyed by the Jixen

Mob 4- CCPC

Mob: CCPC

Behavioural Type: Neutral

Spawning:

  • By random chance, a village may be determined to belong to The Department, and will thus have CCPCs in the area

Attack type: Melee

Anger Trigger: TBA

Any other Information:

  • This mob will have audio. Details later

Mob 5- K9 Mark 2

Mob: K9 Mark 2

Owner: (In the show) Starkey and Proffessor Gryffen (In the Mod) the player who owned the K9 Mk I

Behavior Type: Friendly/Pet-Like

Obtaining:

  1. A K9 Mk I must be obtained
  2. A Regeneration Circuit must be obtained
  3. The K9 Mk I must be given the circuit
  4. K9 mk I must be destroyed, but not by the player.
  5. K9 mk I will drop an item which can be carried by the player
  6. After a period of time, the item will disappear from the player's inventory and K9 will spawn

Mobility: Flight

  • K9 will, normally, fly at about chest or head level in comparison to the player
  • K9 can fly higher or lower in order to keep up with the player

Attacks:

  • Laser

Attack Style:

  • Evasive, but still attacking
  • Will become defensive if a mob is coming at the owner

Any other Information:

  • Not at the moment

Mob 6- Bodach

As Seen in: Dream Eaters

Behavioural Type: Hostile

Analysis:

  • Bodach can't put up too much of a good fight under a direct and aggressive assault; however, if a player without a tinfoil hat comes into the area of effect of a Bodach, he or she should be extra wary of other mobs in the area. Running away will not be easy.

Attacks: Lightning Strike

Special Abilities:

  •   Sleepiness

o   An area of effect ability which causes slowness, mining fatigue, and a bit of blindness (the blindness is triggered every few seconds)

o   Can be negated with a Tinfoil Hat

  •  Control of the Sleepers

o   Using a bed while a Bodach is in the area will cause some effect on a player.

o   More details will be added later

Mob 7- Anubian

As Seen in: The Curse of Anubis

Behavioural Type: Hostile

Analysis:

  • Anubians aren't very Powerful mobs; however, their ability to enslave nearly any other mob, hostile, neutral, or passive makes them a dangerous foe

Attacks:

  • Lightning Strike, but it's incredibly weak
    • Can have a Nausea side effect

Special Abiities:

  • Enslavement Beam
    • Can be fired at most non player mobs, and whatever mob is hit, no matter what it is, will serve the Anubian and will attack the player, whether it is a cow, chicken, villager, or perhaps even tamed dog.
    • Enslaved mobs can be recognized by the circlets they wear on their heads (if the mob doesn't have a head.... well... That's one reason why this suggestion is WIP)
    • Killing the Anubian will free the mob from control

Mob 8- Time Blank

As Seen in: Taphony and the Time Loop

Appearance: Human

Behavioural Type: Hostile

Stats:

  • Health: Low
  • Speed: High
  • Attack: None

Description: A Time Blank is something that should never have happened. A failed experiment attempting to create a Time Traveler. A Time Blank's mere existence is a hazard to those around. Time Blanks have incredible powers over time, such as the abilities to speed it up, slow it down, and freeze others in time. To sustain it's own existence in it's current place in time, it must take from the life force of others.

Analysis: A Time Blank is a very rare mob. It can give some good drops, but it is very dangerous. It may not attack directly, but it excels at making things more difficult for the player. Advice for defeating a Time Blank: Have a plan, or use potions.

Abilities:

  • When the player is within range of a Time Blank, the Time Blank will gain the regeneration effect while the player gains a wither effect.
  • A Time Blank can give mobs within a certain radius a speed buff.
  • A Time Blank can slow projectiles in midair
  • A Time Blank can slow players

Any Other Information: This mob may be a bit overpowered. Balancing is WIP

Boss 1- Trojan

As Seen in: Eclipse of the Korven

Behavioural Type: Hostile

Mob Description: This Beast is a Super Soldier, created from the DNA of every alien the Department has ever Encountered. He's huge, and he's fearsome. If he comes your way, look out.

Analysis: This guy has the abilities of every creature the Department has encountered, so it will naturally be one of the toughest of foes. Be careful

Stats:

  • Strength- High
  • Heath Points- High

Abilities:

  • Invisibility
    • Trojan can go invisible for a period of time. There is a cooldown between periods of invisibility

Item 1- Regeneration Unit

Crafting: To be determined. For now, Orthrus Parts.

Use: Important for obtaining K9 Mark 2

  Item 2- K9 Whistle

As Seen in: Regeneration

Obtaining: TBA. In the show, K9 gave Starkey a whistle.

Function: Calls K9 to the player

Item 3- Can of Uncooked Baked Beans

As Seen in:  The Korven

Tooltip: Heat and eat (I'll likely change this to something one of the Characters said)

Obtaining: Uncooked Baked Bean Cans can be found in Gryffen Manor

Food Efficiency: Low

Item 4- Can of Cooked Baked Beans

As Seen in:  The Korven

Tooltip: Great Food for the Dissident (I probably misspelled this..) on the run

Obtaining: Cooking a can of uncooked baked beans

Food Efficiency: Much better than uncooked baked beans

 Item 5- Tinfoil Hat

As Seen in: Dream Eaters

Worn In: Head Slot

Abilities:

  • Tinfoil hats lessen the effects of most psychic attacks, K9 or Doctor Who

Chameleon Circuit Addon- The BOTI Cabinet from Fear Itself

Generated Structure 1- Gryffen Manor

Blocks:

  • Beds
  • Cans of Baked Beans
  • Bookshelves
  • A crafting table
  • Chairs
  • Doors
  • Glass
  • Brick

Features:

  • Gryffen Manors will each have a Space Time Manipulator.  The player can mine it out and use it for whatever he or she wishes
  • Sometimes a Gryffen Manor may have Mariah in a garage

  • Bedrooms (2)
  • Garage
  • Space Time Manipulator room
  • More will be added later
