DMU Server ranks

Curious about ranks? (haha get it…)

Well, you’re in luck! I have compiled a list of all the obtainable ranks - please see below.

Noob

This rank is basically just a rank which people are set to if they have broken rules, are in jail etc. It removes all permissions - not even commands can be used.

Default (Player)

When you first join the server, your rank will be set to Default. This is the lowest rank with permissions, only above Noob. It is the basic rank, with the basic permissions - Building and mining, basic commands such as /brb, /tptoggle, /spawn, /warp, /suicide etc. It no longer gives access to /set-title, that requirement is now donator. If you see a default who does have a title, this is because they got it before the EULA updates.

Donator

This rank is given to players who have donated to the team. Donating $2.50 will grant you this rank. You can also purchase the rank via the swd store. Regardless of how much you donate, this doesn’t grant you the ability to join the private server. This cannot be refunded, and can be removed from you if it is abused. The donator rank gives you access to many new commands, such as /say, /nick, /hacks, /hug, /me, /sit and /set-title. To get this rank, donate to the SWDTeam via the site, to John on steam or other methods.

Beta Tester

This rank is given to players who have purchased Beta access on the SWD site. Again, this cannot be refunded, and if abused there is a chance you could lose it. This rank grants you access to commands such as /say, /hacks, /hug, /me, /sit, /set-title. This rank also allows you access to the private server, where you have access to creative mode. (You do not have access to creative mode on the public server!)

VIP

This rank is relatively new to the DMU, and is obtained via donating $5.00, or through the SWD Store. It's permissions include:

/sit, /rp, /nick, /hacks, /set-title, /me, /playsound, /hug, /say and /tellraw

This rank also grants permissions to use chat colours! To use them, put a '&' symbol, then a number or letter, for example &4Red would show as: Red. These are formatting codes, and a list of them can be found here.

VIP+

This rank is also new to the DMU; it is obtained via donating $7.50, or through the SWD Store. It's permissions are similar to that of VIP, with a few extras:

/mount, /back, /sit, /rp, /nick, /hacks, /set-title, /me, /playsound, /hug, /say and /tellraw

SWDBae

This rank cannot be obtained any more, as a result of EULA regulations. Anyone who has the rank got it before the updates. Its permissions include: World edit, /fly, /gm, all donator commands and more.

Custom Rank

As many players might have noticed, custom ranks are becoming more and more popular on the server. To get one, visit the custom rank product page. Be sure to include a rank name, and it's permissions, but do note you can't have Gamemode, nor can you have any Administrative permissions. For example, you might want all Vip+ Permissions, but with some extras, for example /particle.

Moderator/Admin/Ultra Admin

This rank cannot be purchased, only earned. In order to earn it, you must prove yourself ‘worthy’ - Help others on the server(s), be mature, handle situations well etc. You can read here for more info about these ranks.

Staff can also have Custom ranks, for example:

Ultra-Edmin (Ed's rank)

Pookie (Sub's Bae's Rank)

They are still staff, not just players with random custom ranks.

Will SWDBae also have the VIP and VIP+ commands?

Apparently Donators can do /hug too. (was tested out on public)

Just letting you know

Just putting this out there I am Beta and I do not have /fly or /weather, I know commands are being worked on right now but I am not sure if we are suppose to have that.

I also have /hacks and /me and /hug already and that's not specified in my rank.

I have also lost some of the commands for my rank x_X

 What does /hacks even do!?

 Well it's joke when you type it you are kicked and it says on your screen "you have been banned"

 Oh okay!

 I think beta was supposed to have these permissions removed upon the EULA regulations, but this has just been implemented now. As for the other commands I will check and update as necessary
