I logged in after before the last few updates and I have literally nothing, what happened??

 If you are trying to join the server John explained here then it means its normal you have nothing. If you try to join the 1.8 (U46) server then your playerdata has been wiped or your inventory has been cleared for a good reason.

 Or he hasn't been on since the last reset, which was a few updates ago.
