Spaceship!!!! (Suggestion)

Ever wondered what happened to Dalek Ships.

My personal answer is this: They took off and are waiting in space somewhere.

Which sparked this suggestion of Spaceships. So pretty much, in the TARDIS monitor, you could select a dimension called 'Space' which wouldn't have a spinning planet icon. Now I know space has been suggested before, and other than the dimension being called 'Space' this suggestion has nothing to do with it. When you set the cords to this 'Space' Dimension and land, you would find yourself on a space craft. There would be several kinds of spacecraft you could land on:

  • Classic Dalek Ship (1960's style, specifically from 'Dalek Invasion of Earth)
  • Classic Dalek ship (1970's style, specifically from 'Death to the Daleks)
  • Imperial Dalek ship (From Remembrance, based on the mothership)
  • Modern Dalek ship (2000's, specifically from 'Parting of the ways)
  • Crucible (Massive Dalek ship that had the 'Reality bomb on it)
  • Modern Dalek ship (Victory of the Daleks)
  • Cyberman spaceship (Revenge of the Cybermen)
  • Cyberman spaceship (Wheel in space and Good man goes to war type on board variable)
  • Clockwork droid spaceship (From Girl in the Fireplace (the fireplaces deactivated) with the robot storage room from Deep breath)
  • Human spaceship #1 (Not got ideas for these yet)
  • Human spaceship #2
  • Human cargo spaceship (Based of the one from Earthshock, This one carry either Ood or Earthshock cybermen on it)
  • SWD spaceship (SWD space program easter egg)
  • Old DM spaceship (The one built by Didgeridoomen, Just Cause)
  • Asylum Dalek ship Classic
  • Asylum Dalek ship Modern
  • Pirate ship (Doe_Killer wanted this)
  • Sycorax ship (Its something different)

As you can see, many variants (These are all just ideas). Basically these spacecraft are mini dungeons, where you can find many rare and valuable Items such as uncraftable clothing items, The 2-DIS, Fob watch (See Fords idea: https://swdteam.com/forum?p=thread&tid=2257) and many other things which have escaped my mind. These dungeons would have a difficultly Tier, Human ship #1, #2, Sycorax ship, Asylum Dalek ships Classic and Modern and the Clockwork droid ship being Tier 1, Cybermen ships and the Human Cargo ship being Tier 2 and all Dalek ships would be Tier 3. The Tier system would relate to how rare the ships are, Tier 1 ships would be a 6/10 chance, Tier 2 would be 3/10 and Tier 3 being 1/10. The rarest ship would be the Crucible being a 1/500 chance to find it.

And that is it, there was a lot here and I've not got everything fully figured out, so if I missed anything, or you have a suggestion, please let me know.

Thanks for reading. laughing

This could be cool. With the clockwork droids, do you mean the Girl in the Fireplace one (with current clockwork droids), or the Deep Breath one?

Girl in the Fireplace, with the robot room from deep breath in it.

Awesome idea! You don't have to believe this, but I've been putting together a very similar idea to this in my mind for the past couple of weeks. Thanks for saving me from typing it. Although, if I may, can you add a space pirate ship to that list?

Updated to include the Pirate and Sycorax ships.

In other, slightly more off topic news, I'm thinking of making a Dalek variants thread, so I can talk about all the Daleks I would like to see added to the mod (This is the Dalek mod after all). Might also try and make other types of threads rather than suggestions.

I like this idea

I have a thread started on the topic. If you have any ideas, feel free to comment on it

Dalek Suggestions thread

It would also be incredibly cool if there was a zero gravity-like feel (like in Galacticraft or StarMiner)

As I said, this isn't a suggestion about Space, it is a suggestion about Space Ships. Most Space craft in Doctor Who have Gravity generators, so that is why there is nothing on anti gravity.

Also, I was just wondering, would someone like to build some Spaceships as examples for this thread? I think I could be cool to have examples.
