My steam locomotive console

Roughly based on the design of the cab of a standard steam locomotive, I was inspired by a video I saw and a quote within to build this console.

So, what do you guys think?  Suggestions and critique are welcome.

Nice! I really like the idea for the console room and I like what you did for the engine, maybe some more depth/detail could be added to the walls?

Apart from that its a cool console room

Thanks.  I'm glad my first comment isn't a hate comment on how it looks dull as ever or something.  I was thinking of adding more to the control panel, but i don't know exactly what to add to it.

Listen I know my Steam locomotives, well the British ones anyway as nice as a thought this is its far off , to start let's say this is a tank engine , no tender , you need access to the behind coal bunker , there's only one firebox which should be larger than a furnace you missing planty of controls  such as your water tap , pressure gauge , steam break gauge your sanders your regulator and reverse, standard break , dampers , whistle and many more, I know this is a lot but c'mon it's the TARDIS if there's not a collection of dials it ain't good, I'm not going to mention how clean this is, real steam engines are filthy , just look at picture of a fireman after a trip , your missing a lot but got the general idea , ik this is a lot but I love meh steam locos so I need to have a say, I hope to see more of this idea

Well...........ok then.  I was just trying to make it look like a train and a TARDIS somehow fused into this.  To be honest, I was going to make it out of wood at first, as though it were a wooden engine, like Link's first engine in Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks, but i decided to streamline it and make it look kinda futuristic.  Plus, how's one firebox going to power a time rotor?  These are built to power 3 time rotors that operate as one for peak efficiency.

I didn't mean to offend it's a good start and I didn't really get the futuristic idea XD I simply named afew controls so you may add, also the Tardis only has one time rotor so only one firebox needed XP

P.S. A wooden steam loco, you do see the problems with its flammability XD

Ok, yeah i get the dangers of a wooden engine.  But that kind of thing was meant as wood paneling on a steel frame with a normal boiler and firebox system.  Plus, almost everything is magic in the LoZ universe, so logic sometimes doesn't apply.

i think  coral model controls would look good on the front as gauges,  specifically panels 2, 3, 4, and 6

It looks a lot more like a space ship, it's just far too big, try scaling it down and using some different controls.

oh by the way,  you dont have to make a new thread for each tardis you make,  you can just make one big thread and post all your tardis pictures there,  even new ones you make!

Right.  Forgot about that.  Still new to the whole "Forum" thing.  This is actually my first forum besides on one other mod that I've been involved in.

Overhauled the design for this one.  It is now cramped, undetailed, and has no demat lever due to no room for it:

actually that brown/tan lever in the first picture works as a demat lever
