TARDIS Mail Suggestion

TARDIS mail is the name of what I am thinking of.

In the episode "The Doctors Wife" the doctor receives mail which is a time lord distress call So I was thinking that this feature you type the player you are sending the mail to and what you want to say.

You can send mail and when the mail is sent it will look like what an eye of ender looks like when it explodes

It will look like a very small beacon with no obsidian the crafting recipe is a sea lantern in the middle and glass surrounding it.

When the mail is sent it will travel to the players TARDIS(s). The way you read the mail is by clicking on it.

Oh wait I forgot something that the mail can do. The player that the mail is sent to will get a notification about the mail and the player can send another message using the same mail so players can have there own mini conversation

What would be the point of the mail, anyways? Can't you just talk to someone in chat?

If it was made to communicate with people who aren't online when you are could be handy..

I fell that you should change your suggested recipe. What happens if somebody doesn't have access to a guardian temple?

Why not just use a piece of paper and 4 Zetion-7 crystals?

I'd say maybe have it so you could send items along with a message to add more use. And maybe that player is offline and you can't contact them, you could send them one of the messages and they'll get it when they come online.

This is a great addition to the idea. I support this!

Got my support! This would be a great idea to be able to contact people who are offline at the time. And the idea of being able to send items is even better because if for example, some people agree to trade and then player one crashes and isn't able to get back on or has to go for some reason, then player two who's still online can send them the item(s) with a message and then when player one comes online and if player two is offline then player one can send the other thing to player two to receive when they come back online. Sorry if that got complicated and confusing but it's a real scenario that's happened to me a few times which means I've missed out on a good trade with another player.

This could be very cool.

Maybe add a way to put a customisable symbol on it (maybe a banner type thing?) like the symbol in the episode?

The most important thing that needs mention is that it needs to be safe from clear lag XD

I do like the suggestion, though

It's best not to comment on old suggestions unless you have something new to add. Otherwise, just bumping up something old just to say "good idea" is necroposting
