So, I haven't played it much myself. Are there any videos detailing things like Crafting recipes and whatnot

 yes , maybe , ( i think is just a Camera Custom File)

 I do believe this is actually a mod. I do hope you don't think that the Mod itself should be two blocks wide the whole time, but rather like the view itself?

 You do know that Zelda (minus Adventure of Link) isn't a 2d Platformer by the way, right?

Most are top-down adventure, "from behind the character," or first person (I forget which one this was) perspective games.
