[WIP Dalek Mod Suggestion] Changes to Gallifrey [Structures, Ores, Mobs, and Flora]

Time lord cats, I think they should give the owner a slight regeneration buff

I think there should be multiple cities, not just the capital. And/or Arcadia.

they should be spread a good distance apart but not too long.

 Agreed.

I never liked how few there were. Heck if that one city got griefed, it'd be a nightmare for the rest of the server

Cloister wraiths

behaviour: neutral unless you stare at them or are close to them (3 blocks)

attacks: ability to either you

spawning: Gallifrey.

Ability to  "either you"?

Either you or wither you. XD. See what I did there?

Oh, I'm going to have a lot of fun with this. You, my friend, are looking at the words of a Man who owns the entirety of Big Finish's Gallifrey Series.

Now, this suggestion is very...weird..so please bear  with me.

Name: Pig-Bear

Description: A Pig the size of the Player with Fur (a Black/Brown Texture) on it with Claws; Noticeable Teeth; in short, all the traits that a Bear has.

Lore: Gallifrey: Series IV: Annihilation.

Behaviour:

  • Attack Style: Melee.
  • Nature: Hostile.
  • Special Traits: Unable to be damaged by a Wooden Sword; Stone will only do 0.5 Hearts of Damage; all weapons above Stone will do their regular damage output.
  • Drops:
    • Raw Pork (unless killed by something with "Flame" on it, in which case, Cooked Pork will drop).
    • Fur (new item; suggest a Grass Texture but black/brown, depending on how the coder feels like).
  • Stats:
    • Health: 20.
    • Attack Damage: 1.5 Hearts.
    • Speed: Same as a Running Wolf.
  • Attacks/Abilities:
    • Hits the player.
  • Notable Weaknesses: If the player holds a Carrot, the Pig-Bear will stop and follow the player while they hold the Carrot until the player puts it away.

Suggestion for Implentation: A mob with a hitbox to match.

Why It Should Be Implented: Adds a sense of Danger to Gallifrey outside the Confines of the Cities and Settlements.

Other Information: It can be tamed with Carrots.

Name: Striped Pig-Bear

Description: A Pig the size of the Player with Black and Brown Stripes on it with Claws; Noticeable Teeth; in short, all the traits that a Bear has.

Lore: Doctor Who: Lungbarrow.

    • Fur (new item; suggest a Grass Texture but with Black and Brown Stripes).

Why It Should Be Implented: Adds more danger to the Gallifreyan Wilderness.

Other Information: It can be tamed with Carrots.

Now, can other structures that are related to Gallifrey be in this thread; i.e, the Station the Sixth Doctor was put in during "Trial of a Time Lord"?

I'll start adding these in. Love the idea.

As for the space station, Idk. Was it near Gallifrey?

Well, I've just checked the TARDIS Wiki Page on it and apparently, they can move that Space Station (which is called "Zenobia," for whatever reason) into the orbit of any Planet, so it could probably be in Gallifrey's Orbit, but I wouldn't necessarily put it next to Gallifrey every time a player visits it (ie., "Away on Trial" or something like that).

Ah. Maybe there can be a transmat to it from inside some Citadels?

 Exactly what I was thinking.

And, if you're summoned for a Trial on Space Station Zenobia, your TARDIS materializes behind you and you have no choice but to step backwards into it, and, upon entry, it goes into flight and lands in the area next to the Trial Room.

Bumping this up because I'm going to start reworking this.

I just finished Series 9 (to which I can now say that I have seen every episode, classic and modern). I know a bit more about the Cloister wraiths and Gallifrey to finish up a bit more of this thread. I will also consider reformatting it and perhaps making a thread on my own interpretation of the Confession Dial.

Any new feedback on the thread, as it stands, would be appreciated

EDIT: The second part glitched up as I was editing it.... Luckily I saved it to word while retyping it, so I'll have it restored hopefully by tomorrow

Interestingly. I had been working on a thread about weapons for all the eras that anyone could use. I have some time Lord stuff in it such as staser pistols, staser rifles, Gallifreyan battle rifles, and Rassilons Gauntlet.

i have noticed that you haven't described what the staser will do

if you are at all interested in what I think it should do. I can tell you.

otherwise, love this idea. I also think you shouldn't be able to get to gallifrey by conventional means- I'm just not so sure on how that would be so.

Cool, I'd like to hear more on the topic.

On the subject of Gallifrey, I'll think about it.

I'm thinking it could be by confession dial, although I'm still working out how the dimension will be structured and how player-veil interactions will work.

Well, I tried a loophole with multiple browser tabs to try to get around the freezing.

Didn't work...

I may have to just redo this thread at a later time

Add the space traffic control room as seen in:Invasion of Time

Add the space traffic control room as seen in:Invasion of Time

Was that the room with the controls for the defense barrier? (if so, it's in the main thread)

I remember awhile back I listened to Doom Coalition part one (Got it free with Doctor Who Magazine issue 500) and in it, the main bad guy is in a prison on Gallifrey, so I think it would be cool if there was a prison on Gallifrey. I also thought about Shada, but I don't have enough info on it to make a good suggestion. frown
