The Labyrinth Of The Angels

The Labyrinth Of The Angels

Day I:

It All Started in a basement, with 5 statues, 5 strange statues. my uncle Tom called them “Weeping angels”, he always told me stories about those statues. he said that they can only move when not being looked at, but i always thought that are only stories. only silly stories to make me sleep at night, or to stay awake... those stories were so creepy. When I was little however, I knew they weren’t true. Then one day... “Jon! Come down! Hurry! What are you doing in that room?!” my uncle screamed at the window. “What’s up? I’m reading a book” i answered. “Come here! I’ve found something incredible!” “What is it?” i asked, fed up with his usual dull discoveries. “A book - an ancient mysterious book!” I ran down, this time actually intrigued. We decided to go into the basement, or what he called his “office”. he spent most of his time there, only god knows what he did down there. Often times we had to bring him food, in the midst of a lot of dust and the aroma of wine. We decided to spend the whole afternoon examining that book or well, he forced me to. We read the first few pages. it said to pay attention to the statues, the same statues that for years he kept in his immense basement. “Is this one of your jokes?” i asked quite angrily because he made me waste an entire afternoon analyzing a stupid book. “How could it be a joke?” he replied “You obviously bought it from a bookshop!” “Which one?” He asked “Well uh, one of the ones in the town Centre” i answered “Ok then, tomorrow I'll take you on a tour of all the book shops and you’ll see I'm not wrong.” We went sleep, with an empty stomach as we had no time to eat after examining the book.
