Steel Amor Retexture (The Dalek Mod)

Intro

In my mind, when you craft Steel armor, built by the steel found on the Cybermen's casing, the armor you then get should make you too, look like a cyberman. Instead the Steel armor in the mod looks like a grayscale version of any old minecraft armor.

Suggestion

What Im suggesting, is a simple texture change to make each piece of the steel armor look like Cyberman parts.

It would make the armor soooo hella cool!

Considering the boots already make a metal clunk sound whenever you walk, I think it only makes sence that we get a retexture so you can both sound and look like a real Cyberman

Alternative?

if I'm in wwaayy over my head and adding this to game would be a bit too tedious or pointless, would it be possible for someone to make a recourse pack out of this idea instead?

I used the CyberWarriors armor only as an example, any Cyberman model would look just as hella cool

I agree with your concept, but the version you've made I don't think quite makes sense, as it's armour made of the same materials, rather than made of the same components.

If the core wasn't lit, the face plate wasn't on, and maybe the fists were open air instead of the "gloves", I'd be 100% on board. That's just my take though, really nice concept and suggestion!

Thanks for the comment!

I suppose I understand where you're coming from. Considering you're right, with it being the same material and not the same component, but the concept is kind of inspired by the Series 12 episodes 'Ascension Of The Cybermen' and 'The Timeless Child', where Yaz and Graham wore a Cyberman "shell" to blend in with the other cyberman. Their armor had a full face plate, gloves and (Im not actually sure if this last one is true) a lit core.
Plus, I think it looks cooler than an open face helmet
