Hi all, I was bored, so I decided to make a template to answer commonly asked community questions, which anyone can use. This is intended to make a SWD community manager's work easier, as these scenarios happen a lot on the SWD Youtube channel and the Minecraft forums.
From some user's writing, I suspect many of them are very young and don't think about reading information about the mod, so I figured it's better to respond patiently and help them learn to think before posting a stupid comment. It's definitely better than another community member getting frustrated and shouting at one another, which again is childish and won't answer the user's question. It'll probably cause confusion and potentially arguments.
Feel free to use the responses below. I would appreciate any suggestions made to improve the quality of these answers and feel free to modify the responses to your writing style.Format still needs to be improved later.

After donating to a DMU server/Buying Beta Access Players' Ranks are not updated
The thing about updating ranks is that it isn't automatic. When someone donates, there isn't a program that goes 'Oh, that persons donated? Let me just give them their rank". SWDTeam and Server staff have to add peoples ranks manually. If you see a staff member such as myself online, just ask quickly if they could check your SWDTeam profile to see if you have in fact donated and they'll change your rank in game.
When you load up the Dalek Mod (in Minecraft), make sure you have logged into your SWD account by clicking the "Account" button on the top right of the screen.

You can download the mod from the SWD store, (https://swdteam.co.uk/product.php?key=XuTH8xMKYQDtBZmC3vxNocBvpgyi2rYP) .
Just wait for the adfly link to finish counting down, then click the "Skip Ad" button to download it. Drag the jar. file into your "mods" to install it. There is no installer required. See the official installation video. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=43Bx3h_Liks). The instructions work for other versions too.

Where are the modelled consoles and the dalek ships?
Yes, there are many missing features such as Dalek Ships or modelled console rooms. Update 40 was completely rewritten from scratch. The older features are coming back, they just need time to code it.
If you can't wait, just downgrade to Update 39 for 1.7.10, which will have all the older features and is more stable than the latest version of the mod.
Porting 1.7.10 or older features
Can you port feature [X] from 1.7.10 to the 1.8 version? E.g. Dalek Temporal shifting, Tardis forcefields, Spawn code.
Yeah, the 1.7.10 features are coming back. As SWDTeam was short of time, not all of the features were able to be ported to 1.8 in Update 40. Over the next coming updates they are able to do so if they have free time.

Is there an official Dalek Mod server?

Why is the server down?!?
Sometimes the server goes offline even though the page https://swdteam.co.uk/product?key=DMUServer says it's online. Just wait until it updates showing the real status of the server
There is an official Dalek Mod server is available to Beta testers/SWD Beta Access users only.
There is a public server coming soon for everyone to use, you will just be in survival.
The master was added in one of the very old version of the dalek mod but then got removed for some reason!

Don't reply back. If they're spamming on your profile or continue to harrass you about it for an extended period of time though, you may need to contact an admin
